Curves

This is the Cape Blanco Lighthouse (the Light part!). Cape Blanco is the most southern of Oregon's lights, and is at the westernmost point in Oregon. Proposed in 1864, it was the first lighthouse in the state outfitted with a first-order Fresnel lens in 1870 (this allows for visitors in the lens room). I was fascinated by the way the lens turned the sky and the ground topsy-turvy, and the way the light refracted the circles in the lens to, seemingly, never-ending curves. Limited Edition Print.
