Ursus Arctos Horribilis
(A fancy name for ‘Grizzly Bear’)
I took this photograph just after sunrise around Wedge Pond in Kananaskis Country. I was very lucky to see the bear twice ... the first time, I didn’t have my camera out! Then I was pleased to be able to capture this bear shambling away rather than charging at me, because I was nervous enough being so close to the beast, and if it had charged at me, the ‘camera shake’ would have made the photo very fuzzy!
